A Self-Guided Retreat

Ready to reset, recharge and restore? Here are some ideas to get you started....
  • Bring some things to BBQ or cook for dinner. Watch the magnificent colors of the sunset from the patio. Enjoy some time around the fire pit and hot tub.

  • Enjoy a morning meditation at home overlooking the desert landscape. Head to Indian Cove or Hidden Valley trail in JTNP for a morning hike before the heat and crowds. On your way back to Sanktuary Haus, pick up some things for dinner at the Farmers Market in Joshua Tree or 29 Palms.

  • Enjoy a leisurely lunch at home, followed by an afternoon of restoration – read a book off our shelf, cool off in the cowboy pool, listen to a podcast or mediation, take a nap.

  • Get dressed up and head out for a nice dinner at the 29 Palms Inn or Copper Room. When you get home, see the night sky come alive (use the Night Sky app to spot constellations) before heading to bed.

  • Enjoy some morning yoga on the patio, followed by another book or podcast to ground yourself before returning to the world. On your way home, check out the Joshua Tree or Mojave Flea Trading Post for something to remember your stay, and stop for a delicious lunch at Pappy & Harriets in Pioneertown or La Copine in Landers.
